Why this wine matters
The 2024 is inspired by German Beerenauslese and uses fruit from some of Marlborough’s oldest Riesling vines, planted in the early 1980s.
How it is made
Late-harvest parcels and botrytised bunches are hand-picked over an extended period, producing a concentrated sweet wine balanced by naturally high Riesling acidity.
What does it taste like?
Orange citrus, apricot, marmalade and lemon curd are concentrated and rich but kept vivid by high acidity and low alcohol.
Serve it well
Serve around 8–10°C.
If this wine were human…
If Noble Riesling were human, it would be easy to meet, harder to sum up.
Does any of this sound suspiciously familiar?
Easy to meet, harder to sum up. You like confidence, but not the sort that needs to keep announcing itself.
At dinner, you are the person who quietly improves the seating plan without ever admitting there was a seating plan. Secretly, you like old-fashioned things when they are done with enough confidence to feel modern again.
In short: easy to meet, harder to sum up. noble riesling energy, translated into a person.
Purely for fun — this is the wine’s fictional personality, not a psychological reading of yours.
