Why this wine matters
More than a famous label.
The estate selects grapes from younger south-east-facing vineyards in the same Barolo area. Compared with its Barolo, the wine receives a shorter skin maceration and no wood maturation.

Why this wine matters
The estate selects grapes from younger south-east-facing vineyards in the same Barolo area. Compared with its Barolo, the wine receives a shorter skin maceration and no wood maturation.
How it is made
Fermentation and maceration last roughly 8–10 days with regular cap work. Malolactic fermentation and around 30 months of maturation take place in concrete, followed by a short period in bottle.
What does it taste like?
Violet, red fruit and spice lead into a robust but rounded palate with Nebbiolo’s natural tannin and acidity kept clearly visible.
Serve it well
Serve around 15–17°C. A little air helps the floral character lift.
If this wine were human…
If Langhe Nebbiolo were human, it would be patient, layered and suspicious of anything described as “instant”.
Does any of this sound suspiciously familiar?
Patient, layered and suspicious of anything described as “instant”. You like a little ceremony, but have no interest in ceremony for its own sake.
At dinner, you would rather have four good conversations than forty introductions. Secretly, you are much more sentimental than your taste in labels would suggest.
In short: patient, layered and suspicious of anything described as “instant”. nebbiolo energy, translated into a person.
Purely for fun — this is the wine’s fictional personality, not a psychological reading of yours.
