How it is made
For the 2024 release, fruit from high-density Uco Valley vineyards is vinified by parcel, fermented with indigenous yeasts and a small proportion of whole bunch, then aged for 12 months in concrete with no oak before six months in bottle. That keeps the focus on freshness, texture and site rather than vanilla or toast.
What does it taste like?
Red and black fruit, herbs and spice sit over a juicy palate with chalky, mineral tannins and a long, fresh finish.
Serve it well
Serve around 16–18°C. A short decant is useful, especially with younger vintages.
If this wine were human…
If Terroir Valle de Uco Malbec were human, it would be grounded, observant and inclined to prefer substance over polish for its own sake.
Does any of this sound suspiciously familiar?
Grounded, observant and inclined to prefer substance over polish for its own sake. You are generous with people you like and pleasingly unmoved by people who insist on being impressed.
At dinner, you are happy to share the bottle, but you definitely noticed who poured themselves the heroic measure. Secretly, you are slightly competitive about having found the good place before everyone else.
In short: grounded, observant and inclined to prefer substance over polish for its own sake. malbec energy, translated into a person.
Purely for fun — this is the wine’s fictional personality, not a psychological reading of yours.
