Henstone Old Dog Corn Liqueur is a ‘bourbon’ equivalent – it is made using a combination of corn (68%), wheat (16%) & barley (16%) - after distillation the resulting spirit is then matured in new American oak casks for at least eight months. This is a light, easy drinking spirit with surprising complexity.. The name ‘Old Dog’ comes from a local coal mine shaft in the Morda valley. Henstone Distillery is an English distillery that makes whisky, gin, vodka, apple brandy, and a corn liquor. It was established in Shropshire in 2017. The spirits are made in a 1,000 litre still named Hilda.
