LIQUEUR While historically gin has been required to have a predominant taste of juniper, a cohort of products has emerged that champion other flavours. Some are full-strength spirits, while others are sweeter, lower-ABV liqueurs. The one and only gin-based liqueur in our selection, this product from Edinburgh Gin Distillery packs heaps of nostalgic flavours that, despite their sweetness, never overwhelm or cloy. To make the expression, Edinburgh Gin is infused with fresh rhubarb and ginger, which are steeped in the spirit for four weeks. Other botanicals include mulberry, orange and lemongrass. Suggested serves: Goes perfectly in a Bramble, which also consists of full-strength gin, blackberry liqueur and lemon. Its also delicious mixed with ginger beer, elderflower tonic, or lemonade, or simply sipped on its own over ice.
