This property ably run by the Dourthe team led by Frederic Boniface consistently produces charming wines that have structure but can be drunk within 5 years of bottling. Virtually all Merlot there is very good handling of oak tannins and available acidity. It would be a shame not to have some of this for everyday drinking.
