Deep, opaque ruby-purple. Lively dark fruit — black plum, blackberry, mulberry — with delicate cedar and vanilla notes from barrel ageing, a savoury crushed-herb lift and a wisp of dark chocolate. Full-bodied with excellent balance, a generous core of dark berry fruit, fine but firm tannins and a long, juicy finish. Drink now with BBQ ribs, grilled lamb or beef burgers, or cellar up to 10 years.
